Bush Lacks Intelligence

Today President Bush said that with the right intelligence, US and Pakistan forces could take out Al-Quaida leaders. “With actionable intelligence, we will get the job done,” President Bush said.

He was further quoted as lamenting the fact that, “Unfortunately, no one in the government has any intelligence.”

The President made the comments at Camp David on Monday while meeting with Afghan president Hamid Karzai. President Bush congratulated President Karzai on the progress made so far in his country, and the leaders spent “more than a fair amount of time” talking about the fact that Afghanistan now accounts for 95 percent of the world’s poppy production. “There is still work to be done, don’t get me wrong, but progress is being made, Mr. President, and we’re proud of you. My wife loves your rugs, and those little seeds you put on your bagels are tasty.”
